· What are the services that Artfully Spaced Gallery offers?
ASG Artfully Spaced Gallery, established in 2016, first group exhibition 2017. ASG offers the following two options to participating artists:
1. TWO-WEEKEND GALLERY RENTAL
Each year during the period immediately following the annual group exhibition, ASG offers a temporary contract to showcase or exhibit your artworks for no more than 2 weekends comprised of Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a Pop Up Visual Art rental and security service non optional fee of $500 per day to all artists that meet our vision and mission guidelines.
2. ANNUAL JURIED GROUP EXHIBITIONS
We offer approved participating artists and visiting instructors, temporary representation and a consignment agreement. Artists’ acceptance includes your participation in a collective exhibition, public relations, email and printed invites and announcements to the annual exhibition. In addition artists may be provided online and social media exposure and listings in art or other community publications as opportunities present. Also, artists and their artwork will be included in our annual ASG exhibition catalog, promotional and workshop brochures; promotional written and distributed material. Finally we will provide assistance with selling or light informal auctioning artwork as a courtesy, aid with writing artist documentation, and participation in an exciting opening reception for the exhibition and more. Upon acceptance you may view detailed information including a copy of our consignment agreement.
· What is the cost of the application?
Annual Group Exhibition Application: there will be a $35 USD non-refundable processing fee. If you are accepted and, for whatever reason, do not sign the consignment agreement the fee will not be refunded in addition we can not accepted you to exhibit with ASG without a signed consignment agreement to be emailed to us after your acceptance email from the submission chairs.
Promotional services are free, however there is no storage, therefore per your consignment agreement a fee will be charged monthly to you if artwork is not picked up on your scheduled date. Pre arrangements must be approved in advanced by the gallery owners for any delays for a disclosed additional date for pick up arrangements.
Promotional services i.e. flyers, announcements, postings, postings on social media, audio, video are also at no cost. Per our non-profit alignments we expect artists to give back to the community by volunteering to lead or instruct art workshops, panel talks and more at least once or twice during the Annual Group Exhibition period.
· Aside from the application cost, will there be additional charges?
Artists are responsible for all preparation, shipping and framing expenses related to their exhibition’s artwork. Artists are responsible for their lodging, travel cost, flights and public transportation: Uber, Lyft, buses, gas for arranged rides. If you have questions regarding lodging please contact Sibyl Walton, lodging is by invitation only.
· Is it possible to renew at the end of the Two-Weekend Rental contract period?

SALE OF ARTWORK
· What is the commission structure?
The commission on the sale of art is 70% for the artist and 30% for the gallery. Sales occur at our exhibitions, through ongoing marketing throughout the three months of the exhibit or as determined by the artist and directors. Our website will update you on online sells which is not yet available.
There is no commission structure on sales for Weekend Rental contracts with artists.
· Can you guarantee that you will sell my artwork?
We promise that we will do everything that is outlined in the Consignment Agreement; however, we cannot and will not guarantee that your artwork will sell.
· What are the submission requirements?
First check the current artist exhibition call window or menu and open. It is on the website under Artist Call.
· How do I submit my application for review?

· If not accepted, can I submit my application again?
Yes, you can submit an application with new artwork in TBD for the TBD Exhibition.
How long is the jury review process?
The jury selection committee process usually takes between 1-2 weeks max.
· Which media are acceptable for submissions?
Paintings, drawings, ceramic, wood, metal sculpture, photography, and installations; appropriately sized media are generally eligible.
· Which media are not acceptable for submission?
For the 2021 Exhibition: Video art, film, performance art, jewelry, and crafts are not eligible. Periodically ASG presents opportunities for these media outside the annual group exhibition period which are announced as they occur. These media are under consideration for inclusion in future annual exhibitions.
· What methods of payment do you accept for submissions?

· Does the gallery provide pricing recommendations for artwork?
No. The gallery only provides pricing recommendation as part of services for the exhibiting represented artists as needed or requested.
